What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender Server position at Common Good Cocktail House?
Common Good is looking to add one person to their team.
For this role we do not require someone with direct industry experience, but having experience is not a negative.
We are looking for someone who is wanting to learn and grow with us, and grow into someone who is a contributor to our culture long term.
Skills we are looking for:
A Driven Learner: We are looking for someone who will want to grow with us; taking every advantage to become an expert on all aspects of Common Good (spirits knowledge, cocktail knowledge on both technique and experience, and service knowledge).
An ability to cope with ambiguity: Common Good is always doing new things, and service always presents new challenges. While we want to improve and have solid systems, sometimes our systems are unable to provide answers. You must be someone who is comfortable with the grey area, and able to "roll with the punches" with a good attitude.
A collaborator: someone who is interested in being a team member, helping those around them and not only worried about themselves. Someone who is interested in helping the team around them grow and improve.
A contributor: Someone who is willing to continrbute to all aspects of our team. You might be serving. You might be prepping. You might be bartending or training. We want people who are comfortable and willing to slot into multiple rolls as needed.
