Job description
Common Goals, Inc. is an Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab facility, offering clients services which include groups, one on one counseling and housing for those in Recovery. Common Goals has been in business in the Grass Valley area for the past 20 years. We are currently hiring for our Inpatient Facility and are looking for someone that is highly motivated to join our fast-paced environment.
Position: Inpatient Support Staff - swing shift
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: TBD, some weekends required and variable shifts
Pay: Minimum starting pay $18 an hour

Qualifications
- If in recovery, must have at least 2 years clean time
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds & navigate stairs
- Clean DMV will be required
- Knowledge in Excel, Word, EHR and other basic computer skills
- Must be compassionate and have good emotional regulation
Job Description
The primary job of our Support Staff is to ensure that all SUD clients receive quality, appropriate and timely care. This position is responsible for running the day to day, non-clinical areas of the residential program. This includes assisting AOD staff and Medical Tech where applicable. Additionally, they will answer phones, transport clients to appointments where needed, update calendar, rosters, shift reports, witnessing self-administered medications and documenting when Med Tech is not available and making sure residents are following program schedule.
Responsibilities
Support Staff will maintain the highest ethical standards through continuing education and training. Meet or exceed all Drug Medi-Cal Standards, all DHCS standards, and any other standards set down by overseeing entities. Support Staff are expected to complete all required education and training during their scheduled time. They are expected to complete their Common Goals Inc Trainee program under the supervision of the Program Director.
Support Staff will be conducting observed UA screenings (UA Tests, collecting samples). They are required to complete all paperwork and adhere to all procedures and protocols.
Other duties as assigned.
