Day-to-day tasks include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations and waitlists, answering questions about the various concepts, and coordinating with serving and bar staff to ensure smooth service. The Host monitors guest satisfaction, provides guidance on available experiences and offerings, and maintains an organized, clean, and inviting entry area. This role also supports communication among front-of-house team members, assists with basic guest inquiries about food and beverage options, and may help with special events or promotions as needed. The Host consistently upholds Common Craft Hospitality’s standards of professionalism, hospitality, and brand representation.

Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and active listening with guests and team members.
- Demonstrated Customer Service abilities, with a focus on hospitality, professionalism, and conflict resolution.
- Experience or aptitude for Training, such as supporting onboarding and sharing best practices with peers.
- Knowledge of or interest in Food & Beverage service, particularly craft beer, wine, and bistro-style offerings.
- Basic Sales skills, including suggesting experiences or offerings that enhance the guest visit.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-concept environment, managing reservations and walk-ins efficiently.
- Reliable attendance, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and adherence to workplace safety and hygiene standards.
- Previous front-of-house or host experience in hospitality is preferred but not required; a commitment to learning and team collaboration is essential.
