Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bilingual Account Executive located in Chicago, IL. The Bilingual Account Executive will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing and implementing custom risk management strategies based on client's needs and preferences, conducting market analysis, and preparing client reports. The role includes providing education and consultation to clients, assisting in business development efforts, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and support.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated and wants to make part of a growing team. Experience in agriculture and/or commodity markets is required. A general understanding of accounting and financial modeling preferred but not required. This position requires obtaining a Series 3 license subsequent to hiring. As all clients within the Latin American team conduct business in Spanish, fluent Spanish speaking and writing is required. 10-15% international travel expected for this position.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in the commodities or agricultural sector in roles related to risk management consulting, trading or sales
- Fully fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
- Willingness to work on-site in Chicago, IL
- Deep knowledge of the agriculture commodities market
- Proficiency in risk management strategies and conducting market analysis
- Exceptional organizational, presentation (public speaking experience preferred) and communication skills (English and Spanish) with a consultative, proactive, self-starter, assertive, passionate, goal-orientation.
- Ability to utilize technology systems to support client interaction
- Proven experience in client relationship management handling accounts of differences sizes and industries
