We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Manager to lead and develop our sales team while driving revenue growth, customer retention, and market expansion.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the inside sales team, developing sales strategies, coaching and mentoring team members, and strengthening relationships with our distributor partners. This role requires a hands-on leader who understands relationship-based selling, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about helping a team succeed.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and company sales goals.
- Establish sales objectives, monitor performance metrics, and drive accountability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributor customers.
- Identify opportunities to grow market share and expand business with current and prospective customers.
- Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and management to ensure exceptional customer service and order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
- Review sales forecasts, pipelines, and market trends to support business planning.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members as needed.
- Maintain a customer-focused culture built on responsiveness, trust, and long-term partnership.
- 5 years of sales leadership or sales management experience.
- Experience in wire & cable, electrical distribution, industrial products, manufacturing, or related B2B industries preferred.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable strategies.
- Proficiency with CRM systems(NetSuite experience preferred), and Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
