The Associate is responsible for supporting the fulfillment of commercial real estate loans for which CommLoan has been engaged to place the debt. This role supports the production team who are tasked with underwriting and packaging the loan request and procuring the most competitive loan terms available in the market, respectively. The Associate will play an integral part in the loan packaging process by reviewing and maintaining the due diligence documents in each deal folder as well as performing market analysis and research related to each property.

This role is also responsible for keeping weekly goal reports up to date and submitting weekly tombstones detailing recently funded transactions to be posted on the company website.

The Associate will be expected to employ effective time management skills and a meticulous analytical approach in order to achieve success. This individual must maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, dedication, and possessing excellent problem resolution skills are essential for this role.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Finance, Economics or Real Estate related bachelor’s degree program with an anticipated graduation date in Fall of 2027 or Spring of 2028.
• Previous real estate experience is a plus
• Self-motivated with a passion to succeed in a fluid startup environment
• Strong educational foundation analyzing Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on timing and impact
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)

• Candidate must reside in Arizona and be able to work onsite at our corporate office in Scottsdale.
