Director (Part-Time)

Committee to Reduce Infection Deaths (RID)

Location: Greenwich, CT (On-site)

Employment Type: Independent Contractor

Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week

Schedule: Three days a week or four,

Compensation: Hourly rate based on experience

About RID

The Committee to Reduce Infection Deaths (RID) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing healthcare-associated infections through education, advocacy, public policy, and patient empowerment.

Most important job is reaching out to community members who will benefit from RID's lifesaving work and cultivating donors to support it.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in nonprofit management, operations, who is eager for a parttime job to put his/her community contacts and zeal for doing good to work.

Bookkeeping

  • Perform account reconciliations using QuickBooks Online
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Maintain accounting records
  • Coordinate annual financial review and audit
  • Organize IRS, charitable registration, insurance, and legal documentation

Fundraising & Development

  • Coordinate fundraising campaigns
  • Plan donor events
  • Maintain Bloomerang CRM
  • Manage donor acknowledgments
  • Research grants
  • Assist with grant proposal development
  • Coordinate annual appeal campaign

Pay: $48,000.00 - $57,600.00 per year
