U.S. CAMPUS ADVISOR
CAMERA seeks a full-time Campus Advisor to join its growing team of young professionals providing support and guidance to students, including those encountering anti-Israel propaganda and in need of information and training in effective pro-Israel activism.
Responsibilities of the Position
- Overseeing CAMERA Fellows and CAMERA on Campus Coalition Groups on campuses in the North America.
- Helping students to organize educational events on campus.
- Guiding students in writing op-eds for various news outlets.
- Monitoring specified campuses for anti-Israel activity and assisting students in addressing challenges.
- Helping recruit for and implement CAMERA’s Annual Student Conference.
- Attending various campus-related conferences.
- Helping implement effective measures to expand CAMERA’s presence on campuses. The position will be based in our Boston office.
Required Skills and Experience
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong event planning skills.
- Strong skills in communications, interpersonal relations, and organization.
- Strong knowledge of history and politics as it relates to the Middle East, Israel, and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
- Excellent writing/editing skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Social media experience is a plus.
