We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Entry Level Engineer to join our engineering team and support manufacturing, equipment, validation, quality, and continuous improvement activities in a regulated production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional looking to develop hands-on experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing systems, equipment, processes, and engineering projects.
The Entry-Level Engineer will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Maintenance, Automation, and cross-functional teams to support equipment installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, documentation, process improvements, and project execution.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 0–2 years of engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or industrial experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, equipment documentation, specifications, and technical procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, co-op, or project experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, automation, or industrial environments.
- Exposure to GMP/cGMP, FDA regulations, validation, CQV, quality systems, or regulated manufacturing.
- Familiarity with FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ, commissioning, equipment qualification, or validation documentation.
- Experience with AutoCAD, PLC/SCADA, instrumentation, CMMS, SAP, or other engineering/maintenance systems.
- Basic understanding of preventive maintenance, reliability, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Experience working with manufacturing equipment, process systems, utilities, or automated equipment.
- Familiarity with technical documentation, change controls, deviations, CAPA, and risk assessments.
