Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator specializing in Corrugated manufacturing to join our dynamic production team. Responsibilities
- Operate corrugated converting machines, including flexo folder gluers, die cutters, and other converting equipment, ensuring optimal performance throughout the production process
- Interpret production documents, work orders, and specifications to meet dimensional measurements and quality standards in the finished product
- Conduct routine mechanical troubleshooting and adjustments on machinery to prevent downtime and maintain continuous operation
- Perform manual handling tasks such as paper loading, packaging, and stacking finished products while adhering to safety protocols
- Monitor quality standards during production by inspecting dimensional measurements and visual checks to ensure product consistency
- Maintain accurate records of machine operation, maintenance activities, and production logs following safety standards in production
Experience
- Prior experience operating manufacturing or converting machinery within a packaging or printing environment is highly preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting techniques and industrial equipment adjustment procedures
- Familiarity with die cutters or flexo folder gluers
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical data accurately
- Understanding of safety standards in production environments, including safety protocol adherence and hazard awareness
- Experience with manual handling tasks involving paper packaging materials and converting machines will be considered a plus
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
