We specialize in van storage solutions and accessories for all trades, including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Building, Auto Glass, Painting, Locksmith, Parcel Delivery, and Cable/Satellite contractors to name a few.

We are currently seeking a Shop Technician at our Commercial Van Interiors (CVI) location in Toledo, OH. A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


  • Assemble and Install customer solutions into commercial vehicles, trailers, box trucks, etc…
  • Receive, stock and pull inventory
  • Drive a lift truck
  • Deliver and pick up commercial vehicles from customer or dealerships
  • Move vehicles around facility and in and out of bays
  • Provide Daily Feedback on Performance
  • Ability to follow workflow processes
  • Function effectively in a team environment
  • Flexible with work schedule to support customer commitment
  • Ability to meet deadlines of individual or team production tasks during shift
  • Performing other tasks as assigned

The key behaviors required for this role are:

  • Knowledge of commercial product
  • Identify and communicate risk immediately
  • Ability to work with tools, hand cart and lift up to 50lbs; ability to obtain a fork lift license
  • Identify and eliminate waste to improve productivity
  • Results oriented; Exceeds goals and pushes self and team

Education / skills required for this role:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a “Driver” as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
  • Certified Fork lift driver – Will support obtainment if needed

Additional Requirements:

  • Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a “Driver” as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Acceptable driving record (Adrian Steel authorized)
