Now Hiring: Service Manager
The Service Manager plays a key role as the liaison between customers and technicians. This individual is responsible for managing service intake, task delegation, processing, and job completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle/equipment issues and repair options.
- Create accurate estimates and ensure all service requests are properly documented.
- Obtain and update Purchase Orders (POs) and Repair Orders (ROs) with detailed descriptions.
- Monitor the progress of all repairs and delegate tasks to appropriate technicians.
- Review all service paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
- Understand and apply warranty coverage guidelines.
- Enforce all company purchasing programs and standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an automotive or truck repair environment.
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Proven ability to diagnose and communicate repair needs clearly.
- Must pass MVR check, DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
