Job Title: Inside Sales
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Store Manager (or similar position)
Job Type: Fulltime
POSITION OVERVIEW
Identifies customer needs through communication and proper inspection processes. Communicates identified needs and gives suggestions in a professional manner back to the customer.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide outstanding customer service in person and on the phone
- Quote prices (via computer) in response to customer requests
- Maintain company and store goals in relation to: CFNA applications, tire units, alignment units, and lube ticket averages.
- Inspect and diagnose service, tire, and automotive repairs problems, communicate necessary repairs and/or replacement of tires.
- May be required to support alignments, lube shop and tire shop.
- Work with Salesmen to ensure their account requirements are communicated and met.
- Notifies customer on special order follow-up.
- Identifies ways to maximize new sales opportunities within the existing customer base and executes that plan. Recommend additional preventative services to customers.
- Monitor customer wait times to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and neat work area
- May assist with the administrative duties, inventory function; receiving, warehousing, delivery
- May assist with picking up and delivering vehicles for customers.
- Obtains monthly sales and GP goal (goal set by store manager)
- Obtains monthly unit goals (goals set by store manager)
- Supports company safety, professional and operational standards and adheres to all audit requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS – required.
- Valid Driver’s License and Insurable Driving Record
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ tire experience and sales experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FUNCTIONS
Physical Demands:
- Standing: 80% | Walking: 15% | Sitting: 5%
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and walking on uneven surfaces
- Frequent lifting/carrying: up to 50 lbs
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for grasping and dexterity
- Constant visual, auditory, and verbal communication required
Work Environment:
- Frequent exposure to noise, dirt, dust, mechanical vibration, fumes, and outdoor conditions
- Occasional work in extreme heat/cold or wet/humid environments
- Occasional hazards due to mechanical equipment, moving objects.
Equipment Operated:
- Company-provided software and system for work orders and inventory
- Tire machines, compressors, air tools and hand tools
- Required to use protective gear (PPE)
