Signs, Awnings & Public Art - Field Technician

CSAMA is a growing Indianapolis sign and specialty installation company looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Field Technician to join our team.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outside, using tools, solving problems, and seeing tangible results at the end of the day. Our projects include commercial signage, fuel station branding, awnings, graphics, lighting, service and repair work, and specialty installations throughout Indiana and the surrounding region.

What You'll Do

• Assist with installation, removal, service, and repair of commercial signage and related products
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other field equipment
• Load/unload trucks and trailers and prepare materials for projects
• Work from ladders and aerial equipment at height
• Perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Travel to project sites and occasionally work extended days when projects require it
• Maintain clean, organized trucks, tools, equipment, and job sites
• Learn new installation techniques and develop into a more independent field technician
• Represent CSAMA professionally around customers, contractors, and the public

What We're Looking For

We're willing to train the right person. Attitude, reliability, work ethic, and willingness to learn matter more to us than having a perfect résumé.

You should be able-bodied, comfortable with physical work and heights, mechanically inclined, familiar with common tools, dependable, and capable of working effectively as part of a small crew.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Higher Pay for For-Hire Endorsement / Qualified Drivers

Candidates who already possess the appropriate Indiana For-Hire endorsement/license and can safely operate our commercial vehicles may qualify for higher starting compensation.

Experience in any of the following is a major plus:

• Sign installation or service
• Bucket trucks / aerial lifts
• Crane operation, rigging, or hoisting
• Electrical or lighting
• Painting
• Concrete work
• Excavation
• Sheet metal fabrication
• Construction or commercial installation

Compensation & Opportunity

This is a straight hourly position, with compensation based on experience, capabilities, driving qualifications, and demonstrated performance.

CSAMA does not currently offer a traditional benefits package. However, we offer performance bonuses, opportunities for advancement, increasing responsibility and compensation as skills develop, and other perks associated with working on a small and rapidly growing team.
