Role Description This full-time Laborer role is an on-site position based in Honolulu, HI. The Laborer supports installation and construction activities for pallet racking, shelving systems, mezzanines, dock equipment, roll-up doors, and related commercial and industrial projects. Daily tasks include loading and unloading materials, preparing job sites, assisting with assembly and installation, using basic hand and power tools, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. The role also involves following supervisor instructions, adhering to safety procedures, and collaborating with other crew members to complete projects on schedule and to quality standards. Occasional lifting, working at heights, and performing physically demanding tasks are required.
Qualifications
- Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools and follow construction and installation instructions.
- Experience or strong interest in industrial, commercial, or general construction work, including installations and tenant improvements.
- Capacity to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying materials, working at heights, and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices and willingness to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and ability to work as part of a team under the direction of supervisors.
- Basic communication and problem-solving skills to support efficient coordination on job sites.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior construction or installation experience is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Honolulu, HI job sites preferred.
