Cleaning Team Leader

Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (occasional Monday cleanings with advance notice)

Assignments: 2–3 homes per day

Compensation:

• $40–$60 per home, depending on team size ($60 for a two-person team, $40 for a three-person team)
• $100 per home for cleanings exceeding 4 hours (most homes require under 2 hours for recurring maintenance)

Apartment Turnovers:

• Two-person team: $20 per hour per person
• Solo cleaning: $30 per hour flat rate
• Three-person team: $120–$160 flat rate per unit (based on duration, divided among team members)

Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly

We are seeking a motivated Residential Cleaning Team Leader to join our team at Commercial Service Company, Inc. The ideal candidate will oversee residential crews, ensure homes and apartment turnovers are cleaned to the highest standards, manage supplies, and maintain quality control. This position requires a reliable vehicle, strong cleaning experience, and the ability to lead and coordinate a team efficiently.

Duties:

• Perform residential cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens.
• Oversee apartment turnover and maintenance cleanings, ensuring schedules are met.
• Supervise team members, provide guidance, and assign tasks as needed.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, restocking as necessary from our storage facility.
• Report any maintenance issues, property concerns, or safety hazards.
• Ensure consistent quality across all properties and follow established cleaning protocols.
• Assist with commercial cleaning assignments and post-construction projects when eligible.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Proven background in residential or commercial cleaning.
• Previous leadership or team management experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards.
• Reliable vehicle for travel between job sites.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple team members.
• Excellent communication skills and time management abilities.
