Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dispatcher/Construction Services professional to coordinate and manage construction-related logistics and service delivery. In this vital role, you will serve as the central communication hub, ensuring seamless scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of service calls and fleet movements. Your proactive approach will help optimize resource allocation, enhance operational efficiency, and support the successful completion of service delivery initiatives.
Dispatch Service Operations:
1. Answer incoming phone calls.
2. Record and enter customer requests for service calls.
3. Process bid requests from service requests for HVAC, Electrical, Construction, & Plumbing quote requests by Customers.
4. Efficiently schedule service technicians daily and for the next business day.
5. Monitor GPS system tech locations.
6. Provide service call status communication to customer base via e-mail, phone, or written correspondence.
7. Handle dispatch operations over lunch hour and other times as requested.
8. Update and manage dispatch board in Foundation operations system.
9. Perform “after hours” supervisor functions on rotating schedule as assigned.
Operational Functions:
1. Code pricing and descriptions for Plumbing & Building Services work ticket billings.
2. Coordinate sub-contactor service orders. Communicate PO numbers.
3. Assist in project job scheduling for Building Services bid project work.
4. Communicate labor-and-material quotes for Building Services, HVAC, and Electrical departments for NTE clients.
5. Perform occasional errand runs.
6. Other miscellaneous tasks as directed.
Requirements
- Commercial Construction knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette for coordinating with multiple Customers & Service Personnel.
- Proficiency in data entry and phone systems efficiently.
- Ability to perform detailed Customer communication. Strong typing skills combined with analysis capabilities will support your success in this role.
Pay: $49,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
