We are currently searching for an Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware to support our client in Tucson, AZ for a direct hire position. This is an on-site position, and the selected person will need to work on-site.
The pay target is: 125k to 185k depending on shift and experience

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM

The Electrical Engineer will support production hardware, manufacturing, testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations for advanced electronic systems. This role will work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve production yield, resolve hardware issues, and support complex circuit card assemblies and electro-mechanical systems.
- Responsibilities:
- Support production, testing, troubleshooting, and sustainment of complex electronic hardware and circuit card assemblies (CCAs).
- Perform root cause investigations and corrective actions to resolve manufacturing and test-related issues.
- Troubleshoot digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal hardware using laboratory test equipment.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to improve product performance and production yield.
- Review and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, engineering drawings, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Support subsystem integration, test activities, engineering changes, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting digital, analog, RF, and/or mixed-signal electronic systems.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, production, or test environments for electronic hardware.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, and spectrum analyzers.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
- Background supporting circuit card assemblies (CCAs), RF systems, sensors, or electronic subsystems.
- Experience with tools such as MATLAB, PSpice, HFSS, ADS, Mentor Graphics, or SystemVision.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), production yield improvement, and test automation.
- Experience with Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), technical writing, and formal presentations.
