The experienced Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions in support of mission-critical operations. This role focuses on integrating AI capabilities into existing systems to improve efficiency, decision-making, and operational readiness.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy AI/ML models for mission-specific applications
- Perform data analysis, model training, and predictive analytics on structured and unstructured data
- Integrate AI solutions into legacy and modern systems
- Implement secure, scalable AI pipelines and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and governance standards
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to align solutions with mission objectives
- Produce technical documentation, training materials, and user guidance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Proven experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in secure or regulated environments (DoD)
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience in Linux environments
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and APIs (REST, GraphQL)
- Knowledge of data engineering, ETL processes, and big data tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks)
- Understanding of secure coding practices and cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO 27001)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevSecOps, and version control (Git)
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
