We're hiring a reliable CDL-A drivers who want a consistent schedule, short trips, and solid pay—without the long-haul headaches. Shift is Monday - Friday, 3pm-11pm
The Job
Move product between our Facility and Warehouse—a quick 4-mile trip. You'll do several runs in an 8-hour shift, keeping things smooth, safe, and steady. No cross-country treks, just reliable routes and a crew who’s got your back.
What You'll Do
- Safely transport materials between company facilities and warehouse locations
- Complete local shuttle runs throughout the shift while maintaining all safety and DOT requirements
- Operate company tractor-trailers and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections
- Utilize the Samsara fleet management system for electronic logging, inspections, and route tracking
- Load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Assist with shipping, receiving, order picking, packing, and inventory control when not driving
- Ensure inventory accuracy using barcode scanners and IQMS systems
- Inspect shipments for damage and verify proper labeling and documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company, OSHA, GMP, FMCSA, and DOT regulations
You'll Thrive Here if You Have:
Required:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Ability to meet DOT driver qualification and medical certification requirements
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer, math, and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- 1 years of CDL driving experience
- Experience operating tractor-trailers in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Forklift certification or forklift operating experience
- Experience with Samsara or similar electronic logging/fleet management systems
- Experience operating both automatic and manual transmissions
- High school diploma or GED
- Strength to lift up to 50 pounds when duty calls
