Position Summery - Shipping Clerk
Assist with shipping and receiving with occasional driving.
Responsibilities:
- Recording pack stage of jobs in ERP system.
- Distribution of final assemblies to its proper inventory storage racks in finished goods.
- Practice “first in/first out” on all final assemblies, by rotating stock on storage racks.
- Using the packaging database and job bulletins, correctly package the final assemblies located in the shipping staging area.
- Using the Customer Releases and Scheduling screen to determine what final assemblies are to be shipped out on any given day.
- Safely and accurately move product throughout shipping with precision and care using a hand lift, barrel lift, and forklift/hilo.
- Creating the following when necessary: Packing list, Bill of Lading, Shipping Labels, Certificate of Conformance
- Must keep the shipping area neat, clean and well organized.
- Must be able to lift 50 pound boxes and stand for long periods of time
- Must possess a Chauffeur's License.
- Make deliveries via a box truck.
- Must have barcode scanning experience.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Chauffeur's License and ability to drive a box truck (preferred).
- Frist shift with occasional overtime.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
