Role Description The Construction Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Boca Raton, FL. This role oversees commercial interior construction projects from planning & estimating through closeout, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project schedules, managing subcontractors and vendors, reviewing drawings and change orders, and monitoring progress on-site. The Construction Project Manager communicates regularly with clients and internal teams, tracks project costs, prepares reports, and enforces safety and quality standards. This role also involves resolving field issues, facilitating inspections, and supporting continuous improvement in project delivery.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in developing detailed conceptual estimates, Construction Project Management with experience overseeing commercial interior or similar projects.
- Proficiency in Project Management and Project Coordination, including scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
- Capability in Budgeting and cost control, including estimating, tracking expenses, and managing change orders.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and document interpretation (plans, specifications, contracts).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple projects or phases simultaneously.
- Proficiency with construction management and scheduling software, as well as basic office productivity tools.
- Relevant education such as a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience would be a plus.
