The team also manages specialized functions such as ICRA containment, moisture control systems, surface preparation, and installation of carpet, resilient, ceramic, stone, epoxy coatings, polished concrete, and low moisture carpet cleaning. This breadth of services enables Commercial Flooring Services, Inc. to support complex commercial projects from planning through final installation.

Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Denver, CO, responsible for overseeing commercial flooring projects from initial planning through completion. This role coordinates estimating, procurement, logistics, and scheduling to ensure materials, equipment, and crews are aligned with project timelines and quality standards. The Project Manager works closely with clients, field supervisors, and vendors to clarify specifications, manage change orders, and address on-site issues promptly. Daily responsibilities include tracking project progress, monitoring budgets, reviewing installations for compliance with safety and quality requirements, and preparing status reports. The role also involves supporting ICRA containment procedures, managing specialized flooring installations, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including experience planning, coordinating, and delivering construction or flooring projects.
  • Candidates should possess expeditor and expediting skills to move materials, equipment, and information efficiently through all phases of the project.
  • Candidates should possess inspection skills to verify compliance with specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines on job sites.
  • Candidates should possess logistics management skills to oversee material shipping, delivery, warehousing, and on-site coordination.
  • Relevant experience in commercial construction, flooring, or a related trade is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and floor plans.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software and basic office tools (e.g., MS Office, scheduling applications).
  • Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred qualifications include a degree or technical training in construction management or a related field, and familiarity with ICRA containment and specialized flooring systems.
