Supply Chain Operations Analyst

Overview

The Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting daily distribution and warehouse operations through the effective administration and utilization of ERP, Warehouse Management System (WMS), shipping, and communication platforms. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring system stability, improving workflow efficiency, and providing frontline operational support.

The Operations Analyst serves as a key liaison between warehouse operations and cross-functional departments, helping to drive efficient order flow, process consistency, and operational excellence. Additionally, this role leverages data analytics to identify trends, measure performance, and support business decisions across inventory management, transportation, and distribution center operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain and support WMS functionality across all warehouse locations.

· Provide real-time support to warehouse teams for system errors, workflow interruptions, and process deviations.

· Monitor inventory accuracy, support cycle counts, and investigate inventory discrepancies.

· Partner with Operations, Customer Service, Inventory Control, Transportation, and IT teams to support daily business needs.

· Generate, maintain, and analyze reports related to inventory accuracy, productivity, order fulfillment, transportation performance, and DC operations.

· Develop dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics that provide visibility into operational performance.

· Utilize data analytics to identify trends, uncover operational inefficiencies, and recommend actionable improvements.

· Support business decision-making with analytical insights related to inventory planning, transportation efficiency, labor productivity, and warehouse performance.

· Assist in forecasting, capacity planning, process improvement initiatives, and system implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

· 2 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, supply chain, or operational analytics environments.

· Experience working with WMS, ERP systems, and transportation/shipping platforms.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

· Demonstrated ability to interpret operational data and convert insights into actionable business recommendations.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience preferred.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.

· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.
