Commercial Employees is hiring a Fitter - Welder for an Ellwood City Metal Fabricator. Our Fitter - Welder is a skilled tradesperson that plays a key role in our manufacturing / fabrication process. Wage range for this 1st shift, full-time role, is from $20 - $24 per hour. Strong benefits. Higher wage available based on experience. Fitter - Welder Role:Assembling, installing and maintaining mechanical systems and equipmentHands-on skills to assemble, disassemble, repair and move machineryReading and interpreting technical blueprint drawings, plans, and specifications with minimal supervisionFit and Weld to ASME Fabrications specificationsCollaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet deadlinesPerform quality checks, including repairing and replacing worn or defective machinery parts, to ensure safe and efficient machinery operationsRequirements for our Fitter - Welder:Previous experience (prefer 5 years) in Fitting and Welding.Proficiency in blueprint reading and layoutFamiliarity with ASME code work and vessel fabricationAbility to operate overhead cranes and shop equipment safelyStrong attention to detail and organizational skills and work ethic.Commercial Employees is a veteran - led staffing firm with 7 Pittsburgh offices and 2 in Charleston.
