CCI has a Payroll Manager position available in its Charlotte, NC office. This position has visibility and interaction with senior management and offers career advancement.
Position Responsibilities:
- Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Performs final review on all New Hire, Status Change and Termination files as part of our Payroll controls.
- Track employee leave as relates to payroll.
- Processes stock vesting and grants as they relate to payroll.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors, both internal and external.
- Other duties may be assigned at company’s discretion.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of related experience required.
