What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Accounting position at Commercial Construction Group?
We're a General Contractor looking for a fast-paced, quick-learner and a team player to join our team. Candidates would be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities:
Subcontractor Pay Applications Processing and Payments - Previous experience is a must in working with subcontractor pay applications.
- Perform accounts payable and general ledger coding for all Subcontractor AIA Pay Applications as well as verification of subcontract and change orders
- Communicate with subcontractors/suppliers regarding payment status
- Experience with construction lien laws
- Prepare vendor checks and lien waivers
- Maintain project job cost reports
We're looking for someone who is fast-paced and has mastered the art of multi-tasking. We have a ton of moving parts here and we need someone who can keep up. Ability to meet deadlines is required. Construction accounting experience is a must. Salary to be commensurate with experience.

Pay: $60,578.00 - $63,876.00 per year
