What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Specialist position at Commercial Cleaning & Staffing?
Seeking production specialists for a tobacco plant in Clarksville, TN
We are looking for employees that are adaptable and multi-skilled. The person must be willing to perform the below tasks:
- Move product from inventory to the staging areas in the facilities
- Operate industrial lifts and scissor lifts to load, unload trucks and supply materials per safety guidelines.
- To assemble boxes and or product fill operator
- Multi- skilled operative to load boxes to Case Press
- Walking, climbing, stooping, and reaching
- Tabacco processing and packaging equipment experience.
- The ability and willingness to learn and retain knowledge regarding several duties and responsibilities and various departments.
- To be able to clean when production is down and or waiting for the conveyor to start.
Those with 2 years forklift experience and/or certification highly encouraged to apply.
Hours:
Weekly hours usually do not exceed 40, but some overtime may be offered on occasion. The hours of shifts usually range as follows:
Day Shift: 5:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - Monday - Friday (hours vary weekly)
Night Shift: 5:30 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. - Monday - Friday (hours vary weekly)
2 Years experience necessary and we are looking for individuals who are willing to grow with our company!
Weekly pay
The company we are contracting with is open to hiring full time after trial period if all requirements are met.
