Commercial Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various settings, including, commercial, and industrial environments. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facility, ensuring that all areas are safe, clean, and welcoming for employees and visitors alike. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms including urinals and toilets, break rooms, and common areas by regularly cleaning and restocking supplies.
• Carry out commercial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor building security by checking doors and windows after hours.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
• Flexible hours Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. Friday shift can be performed on Friday evening or anytime over the weekend. Shift is approxamatly 2 hours per evening. Possibility of more hours going forward at other accounts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleaning standards.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK and drug test

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour

Salary : $14 - $15
