What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Field Manager position at Commercial Cleaning Service, Inc.?
We are seeking a detail-oriented, personable field representative to serve as the quality control point-person across our commercial cleaning portfolio. In this role, you'll drive a company vehicle to each of our accounts on a monthly rotation, inspect the quality of our cleaning work, spot opportunities to grow the account, and make sure crews and supervisors are set up to fix any issues you find.
This is a highly independent, on-the-go role; you'll spend most of your day out in the field rather than at a desk, visiting a mix of residential complexes, offices, and other commercial accounts across our service area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a company-provided vehicle to visit each of our accounts on a monthly basis
- Conduct detailed quality control inspections of cleaning work against each account's contracted scope of services
- Document inspection findings and identify any gaps, recurring issues, or areas needing attention
- Share inspection reports and results directly with customers, maintaining a professional, trust-building relationship at each site
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services based on what you observe on-site and customer needs
- Follow up with Supervisors on any issues identified during inspections, and confirm that crews are being trained/coached to correct them
- Track inspection history and account status to flag trends or accounts that need extra attention
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Comfortable spending most of the workday driving and visiting multiple sites
- Strong attention to detail: you notice what others miss
- Confident, professional communication style for customer-facing conversations
- Experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, facilities, or a related quality control/inspection role preferred
- Ability to give direct, constructive feedback to Supervisors and follow through on corrective action
- Organized and self-directed; comfortable managing your own daily route and schedule
- Basic computer/smartphone proficiency for logging inspections and reports
