Location: Fremont, Ca

Compensation: $40-$60 (pending experience and capabilities)

DESCRIPTION:

The Engineering department comprises both Shop drawing Engineers and Layout Engineers. We eventually want all Engineers to have the ability to provide a level of both, despite their primary role.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Layout: Creating layout/ cut list tags for the shop to produce, machine & build from.

·       Taking items from shop drawings to 100% buildable work orders

·       Creating a cut-list through Microvellum or similar software

·       CNC programs through Alphacam or similar software

·       Coordinate with the shop during production as needed

SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS:

·       Minimum 2 years of experience with Microvellum or AutoCAD

·       An understanding of cabinet construction

·       Experience creating cut-list/layout for the shop to produce from

·       An understanding of how to read Architectural drawings

·       Experience with Alphacam is a plus
