Delivery Driver, CDL Class A, Akron, Ohio

Home Terminal: 708 Killian Rd. Akron, OH 44319
Equipment: Well-maintained day cab & 40’ - 53’ dry van (trailer)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 to 12 hours per day, available from 6 am - 6 pm.

Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities:

• Arrive at the terminal on time and ready to work.
• Follow the scheduled route for daily deliveries.
• Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner.
• Collect signature or payment, if necessary, upon arrival to the recipient client
• Document overages, shortages, and damages to the freight.
• Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures.
• Keep the vehicle organized and clean.
• Serve as a brand ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public; customer service is a large part of the driver's responsibilities.
• Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules.
• Utilize technology per company policy, including dual facing cameras.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $27-$30 per hour to start, Weekly Pay, Direct Deposit

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:

• Possess a valid CDL.
• Possess a valid DOT Medical Certificate, minimum of 1-year.
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ CDL truck driving experience, and able to pass a road test.
• You must be able to safely and repeatedly lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Motor Vehicle Record and PSP must not have excessive safety violations.
• Experienced and physically able to operate hand trucks and manual pallet jacks.
• Must be customer service minded and professional.
• Must be hardworking, high energy, dependable, and a team player.

Wage Range: 28.00 - 30.00 per hour
