Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to ensure cleanliness of assigned areas
- Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Clean and maintain restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas according to established protocols
- Conduct custodial duties such as window washing, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and upkeep as needed
- Follow safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and sealing surfaces
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
