What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Bank Teller position at Commercial Bank & Trust Company?
Role and Responsibilities:
- Cashes checks; accepts deposits and loan payments and safety deposit rent; sells Official Checks, completes CTRs as needed; and takes check orders.
- Complies with CIP requirements.
- Opens consumer and business accounts.
- Uses Deposit Horizons daily and completes the tracking information.
- Seeks expanded deposit and loan relationships with customers.
- Possesses a helpful attitude with co-workers and customers.
- Has prompt and regular attendance.
- Strives to improve efficiency in his/her work area through cost savings.
- Completes training as needed.
- Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
- Sets goals for making referrals to contacts in the community.
- Adheres to IT Program including IT Security Policy and completes required IT training.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working directly with the public is preferred

- Excellent math skills
- Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity
- Tact and public relations expertise
- Proficient with PC and Vertex
- Ability to work well with others
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
