Role Description - Commercial Bank of Grayson is seeking a full-time, on-site Mortgage Loan Officer based at our Main Office in Grayson, Kentucky.
The Mortgage Loan Officer will guide customers through the residential mortgage process from initial inquiry through closing. Responsibilities include originating mortgage applications, reviewing financial and property information, coordinating required documentation, communicating loan status, and ensuring compliance with Bank policies and applicable lending requirements.
The position will also support consumer and construction lending, develop relationships with customers and community referral sources, and contribute to the Bank’s continued growth in the local market.

Qualifications
- Three years or more of relevant mortgage, consumer, credit, banking, or related lending experience
- Working knowledge of residential lending, credit analysis, loan documentation, and closing practices
- Strong customer service, communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop relationships with customers, Realtors, builders, attorneys, and other community partners
- Proficiency with loan origination systems and common business software
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, finance, banking, real estate, or a related field preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain required NMLS registration
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Bank’s service area
