Job Summary: The Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for focusing on acquisition of new asset-based loans, C&I loans, and owner occupied CRE relationships. This will be accomplished through effective leadership of sales and business development, , and the cultivation of broker/referral relationships. The RM is highly involved in client calls, structuring loan proposals, loan pricing, referring new deposit accounts or Treasury Management products, while developing the Bank’s brand and increasing awareness in the marketplace.
Essential Functions:
- Meets and exceeds monthly performance-based scorecard goals that include but are not limited to loan and deposit production
- Responsible for the acquisition of new asset-based loans, C&I, SBA Loans, and owner occupied CRE relationships.
- Enhances the loyalty and profitability of existing relationships, growing new profitable relationships, and referring opportunities to other parts of the company.
- Participates in network groups, industry trade organizations and networking events to cultivate a referral relationship.
- Reviews, processes and prepares documentation for loans; ensures that it is complete, legal, and in compliance with regulatory and bank requirements.
- Assists in obtaining financial statements, tax returns, and other credit information for timely new loan assessment.
- Works with the Treasury Management Specialists and Account Managers to ensure a smooth client onboarding experience, new account process, enhance client growth and retention as well as identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Provide assistance with loan and other assets timely risk rating in accordance with the Bank’s loan policy.
- Performs other duties and special projects as needed and assigned.
- BA preferred or experience in related position.
- A minimum of 5-7 years banking experience with an emphasis in business acquisition, relationship management and commercial lending to small/middle market businesses.
- Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commercial credit skills in asset-based, C&I and CRE lending.
- A strong background and ability in prospecting for new clients and a demonstrated track record in business development and retention.
- Ability to negotiate and structure loan proposals/ pricing.
- Very strong organizational, time management skills, and leadership qualities.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Strong presentation skills.
- Must be a team player, self-starter, flexible, be able to multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Familiar with Microsoft Suite of products; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must present a professional image.

Salary : $125,000 - $160,000
