Compensation Range Hourly: $72,500.00 - $85,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.) About This Job The main purpose of this job is to play a critical role in working with business process owners to understand and document processes, as well as identify and design automation solutions. Essential Functions Work with developers, IT and lines of business to conduct testing of solutions for effective automation development deployment Work with primary business units to support and develop OpenText / Optical Character Recognition (OCR) solutions Think creatively to identify opportunities for automation and provide recommendations that include support, value and complexity Document business requirements and input on technical requirements for desired OCR solutions Obtain required test data; perform functional and performance testing Coordinate with IT operations for test scripts, QA, and deployment Develop and perform rigorous User Acceptance Testing in conjunction with process owners Perform monthly Patch Testing and Disaster Recovery testing off-site Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Ability to liaise between developers and process owners to identify and design automations Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise between developers and process owners to identify and design automations Intermediate project management skills Ability to lead meetings and build relationships across the business, functions and IT stakeholders Strong problem-solving and logic-based reasoning skills Ability to produce clear and concise documentation Ability to work in an Agile environment Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Inquisitive, agile and strong team player Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Math, Engineering, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required 4 years experience in process evaluation, deconstruction and improvement, and experience in IT solutioning, test planning, test execution, and remediation required Interest or experience in automation technology, including OCR, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology preferred *Hybrid Schedule: In office 2 days per week ***For individuals applying, assigned and/or hired to work in areas with pay transparency requirements, Commerce is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for some roles. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation.
