About This Job The main purpose of this job is to, in compliance with established policies and procedures, provide administrative and operational support in the wealth management area in order that client investment needs may be met, and long-term relationships developed and fostered. Essential Functions Prepare investment proposals and client performance reviews, as requested by Private Wealth Advisors Closely work with back office to reconcile performance, process capital calls, and resolve trade settlement issues Proactively work with Private Wealth Advisors to ensure all compliance related documentation is up-to-date and properly saved Perform account maintenance such as account setup, placing trades and booking bond sales/purchases, etc. Answer telephones, assist clients and direct client inquiries to appropriate associates when needed Respond to the needs / questions of the wealth management department Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars as requested Complete required compliance and technical training as assigned Regularly attend and represent the bank at client events, meetings, seminars and social gatherings to help build relationships Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Strong mathematical and analytical skills Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience required 3 years experience in an administrative support role within a wealth management setting required Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Salesforce a plus For this position, federal regulations require Commerce Bank to prepare an investigatory consumer report which will disclose credit history.
