ABOUT COMMERCE CHILDREN’S CENTER
CCC is a NAEYC-accredited preschool located on the scenic and secure Department of Commerce campus in Boulder. We are built on a framework of community and professional growth, serving a unique family base of scientists and researchers from the federal labs.
Under the supportive leadership of Directors Haley and Lindsey, we prioritize responsive relationships, an emergent curriculum, and the HighScope approach.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Lead the Classroom: Create engaging lesson plans based on children's interests and HighScope principles.
- Partner with Parents: Build professional relationships with our highly educated community of families to support their child's development.
- Grow Professionally: Actively participate in our paid training program, monthly portfolio workshops, and staff meetings.
- Maintain Excellence: Ensure a safe, clean, and NAEYC-compliant environment where children can explore freely.
- Track Development: Observe and document children’s progress to help build their portfolios.
