• • Sterilization and Cleaning: Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize reusable medical equipment and instruments using autoclaves or chemical disinfectants.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of medical supplies (e.g., examination gloves, wound care materials, personal protective equipment) to ensure they are available, reducing emergency ordering.
• Distribution and Storage: Organize and deliver supplies to appropriate departments or nursing stations. Maintain a clean, organized storage area.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, inventory logs, and equipment checks to comply with safety regulations.
• Equipment Inspection: Check equipment and instruments for damages to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Vendor Coordination: Interact with vendors to receive new stock and ensure correct inventory levels.
