Stassi II Community Care Center, will be the Greater New Orleans area’s newest skilled nursing & rehabilitation center, and we are looking to grow our team. Designed for person-centered care, John A. Stassi II Community Care Center will be the first of its kind in the area and will provide care in an atmosphere that promotes resident choice and creates a more home-like setting.
We are seeking the right candidate for the position of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). In this vital role, you will ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team to provide exceptional clinical leadership and support.
Primary Job Duties
· Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the nursing department.
· Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of competent department personnel.
· Participate in developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling regular in-service training classes that provide instruction and ensure a well-educated nursing department while keeping up with Federal and State educational requirements.
· Monitors and guide the completion of assessments in a timely manner.
· Manages Care Planning Process.
· Assist in developing, presenting, and evaluating education and training for employees.
· Infection prevention, vaccinations, collaboration with other healthcare professionals within and outside of the facility and implement infection prevention education.
· As part of the administrative nursing team, participate in the on call rotation
