You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the AIRFIELD ADMINISTRATION DIVISION, AIR OPERATIONS, OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAS OCEANA.

Duties

Help

  • You will provide advice, assistance and submit a variety of data reports.
  • You will be responsible for accurate reports and maintenance of financial records.
  • You will review Air Operations budget daily to ensure accuracy.
  • You will assist in gathering information for requisitions pertaining to the procurement of equipment, services, supplies, and short-term contracts.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

-Experience utilizing supply functions, operations, program requirements, and work methods.

-Experience completing data entry and processing of supply transactions in an automated supply system.

-Experience reading, interpreting, and applying applicable reference material such as supply regulations, manuals, catalogs, records and orders to accomplish tasks and resolve complete supply problems.

-Experience resolving complex supply problems and receiving, screening, reviewing and verifying documents.

PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
