Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Blast Yard Manager based in St. Gabriel, LA, allowing for some work-from-home flexibility. Responsibilities include overseeing daily yard operations, managing workflows and schedules, supervising staff and equipment usage, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and maintaining inventory for materials and supplies. The Blast Yard Manager will coordinate with leadership to optimize efficiency while maintaining high quality standards throughout operations.
Qualifications
- Proven Supervisory Skills, including the ability to manage teams and oversee day-to-day operations effectively
- Experience with Yard Management, ensuring organization, safety, and operational efficiency
- Proficiency in handling Heavy Equipment and Forklift Operation
- Strong Communication abilities to relay information clearly and work collaboratively with teams and leadership
- NACE/AMPP certification (Level 1 or higher) preferred
- Knowledge of safety protocols relevant to industrial environments is highly preferred
- Ability to adapt to both on-site and remote work requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are advantageous
- Previous experience in industrial operations or similar roles is a plus
