Summary/Objective
Command Construction isseeking an experienced and detail-oriented Highway Heavy Project Manager to oversee construction projects within the civil infrastructure sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction management practices, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. This role involves coordinating multiple teams, managing project schedules, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within the budget. A background in construction site management and a solid understanding of project plans and specifications are essential for success in this position.
Essential Functions
- Lead and manage all phases of highway/heavy construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met effectively.
- Oversee project budgeting, estimating, and cost control using HeavyBid and construction estimating tools.
- Review plans, specs, contracts, and construction documents to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Monitor construction site activities to enforce safety standards and quality control measures.
- Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, and other software for project documentation, progress tracking, and communication.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and resolve any issues promptly.
- Prepare progress reports, change orders, and project documentation for stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules through effective project management and time management practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy civil construction projects with a focus on highway or infrastructure development.
- Strong proficiency with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyBid, ,Construction management software, and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, construction management, contract administration, and site coordination.
- Proficiency in reading plans and specifications along with a thorough understanding of schematics and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of contracts and agreements related to construction projects.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills for team coordination and stakeholder engagement.
- Relevant educational background in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
