Description

Summary:

The Assistant Technician service crew must be knowledgeable of company policies and procedures and be able to implement these effectively. Assistant Technician is responsible for assisting in the performance of all arcade maintenance. Assistant technician must maintain positive customer and crew relations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work under the guidance of the Technical manager and/or General Manager
• Work on the latest video games and skill games, kiddie rides, soft play, bumper cars, laser tag, mini bowling, racing karts, kitchen equipment, and register systems.
• Repair and/or replace defective electronic components and take responsibility for timely scheduled and unscheduled inspections.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and repairs on arcade games and equipment.
• Maintains facilities that are clean, safe and in good repair
• Provide routine maintenance support
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing daily occurrences that arise.
• Assist in troubleshooting and basic repairs of corporate machinery.

• Responsible for other duties as assigned by Technical Manager
  
  
  

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• Ability to work flexible hours which includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
  
  
  

Knowledge And Skill Requirements

• Basic working knowledge of hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Have work flexibility (nights, weekends and holidays)
• Attention to detail.
• Time management and a sense of urgency.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills, in addition to good client/customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a team.
  
  
  

Working Conditions

• The work for this position is performed mainly inside the fun center
• Strong customer service is essential for this position
• The position requires routine walking, standing, bending, twisting and carrying items weighing no more than fifty pounds
• This position requires availability nights, weekends and holidays

Salary Description

$16.00-$18.00 per hour
