Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Repossession Field Agent to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for locating, recovering, and securing vehicles and assets that are overdue or in default. Your proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and mechanical knowledge will ensure smooth operations while maintaining professionalism and customer service excellence. Duties
- Work schedule will be 5 days a week. You may be required to alternate between day sift and evening shift.
- Conduct thorough vehicle searches using provided information and investigative techniques to locate repossession targets.
- Safely operate various vehicles including flatbed trucks and tow trucks to recover and transport assets.
- Perform basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine vehicle condition prior to recovery.
- Load, unload, and secure recovered vehicles or equipment ensuring safety standards are met.
- Engage with customers professionally, managing conflicts effectively while maintaining a positive company image.
- Maintain detailed records of all repossession activities, including documentation of vehicle condition, location updates, and recovery procedures.
- Follow all safety protocols during field operations, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to traffic laws.
Experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be 23 years old or older.
- Must be able to pass a drug and background check (special circumstances will be considered).
- Clean, presentable appearance, reliable, strong work ethic and loyal.
- Some knowledge of automotive systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Basic computer skills including internet and email.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Prior customer service experience is a plus, demonstrating strong communication skills in diverse interactions.
- Must be able to read and write in English at a reasonable level to communicate with employees, customers, and clients
- Shifts and schedules may change throughout the year.
