The Role
Comfy is the open, modular platform powering the next generation of visual AI workflows. We’re hiring a BizOps Strategist to help us scale, someone who can take a messy problem, figure out what matters, and drive it to a result. You’ll own initiatives end-to-end across ops, product, and go-to-market, with real autonomy and real impact.
What You’ll Do
Comfy (https://www.comfy.org) is the AI creation engine for visual professionals who demand control over every model, every parameter, and every output. The most powerful workflow engine for visual AI.
Unlike tools that hide everything behind a prompt box, Comfy lets you connect models, processing steps, and outputs on a canvas where every decision is visible and every step is inspectable. It gives you the building blocks to create workflows nobody's imagined yet, and share them with everyone.
What started as an open-source project in 2023 now has 4 million users, 60,000 community-built nodes, and 150,000 daily downloads. It's used by artists, filmmakers, game studios, designers, researchers, and VFX houses, including teams at OpenAI, Netflix, Amazon Studios, Ubisoft, EA, and Tencent.
We're a small, intense team in San Francisco. Our team comes from Stability AI and Google, and many contributed to the ComfyUI ecosystem long before working here. Low ego, high ownership. We work hard and demand a lot of each other, but we have fun. Everyone here is building something meaningful that will end up being our life's work.

We’re hiring a BizOps Strategist to help us scale, someone who can take a messy problem, figure out what matters, and drive it to a result. You’ll own initiatives end-to-end across ops, product, and go-to-market, with real autonomy and real impact.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct market, user, and competitive research to inform pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
- Build and maintain analytics dashboards (e.g. SQL/Excel) to track acquisition, engagement, conversion, and campaign ROI.
- Synthesizes revenue, cost, and pipeline data into operational recommendations
- Lead growth campaigns, pricing or product experiments, and community initiatives from concept through execution and analysis.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing/GTM, and Community teams to translate strategy into product features and process improvements.
- Design and optimize operational workflows and tools to automate tasks and scale the business.
- Run A/B tests, pilots, and surveys to validate ideas and optimize performance.
- 3–8 years across strategy, biz/ops, or growth. Ideally in a scrappy startup or high-output consulting environment (MBB/Big 4) where you had to figure things out, not just execute playbooks.
- You use AI tools the way a senior analyst used to use Excel - fluently, daily, and to punch above your weight.
- Analytical foundation in SQL and/or data modeling; you can get from raw data to a decision-ready insight without waiting on a data team.
- Operates autonomously end-to-end. You don't need hand-holding, but only context and access.
- Sharp communicator who can distill ambiguous, complex problems into crisp recommendations that move stakeholders to action.
- Comfort with SaaS metrics, growth loops, or community-driven product dynamics.
- Instinct for process debt: you notice when something should be automated before anyone asks you to fix it.
- MBA or technical degree, but we'll take demonstrated output over credentials any day.
