Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced residential and/or commercial HVAC Installer / Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on HVAC experience and be comfortable with both installation and service work.
Responsibilities
- Install residential/commercial HVAC systems (split systems, heat pumps, packaged units, ductwork).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, providing effective repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance and system checks.
- Follow all safety procedures, local codes, and manufacturer specifications.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in excellent condition.
Skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, particularly an ohmmeter, for electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Attention to detail in both technical tasks and documentation processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
