We are seeking someone who is personable, organized, and isn't afraid to lead. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of dental procedures, communicates clearly, and consistently delivers high quality patient care in any environment.
Your duties will include:
- Maintain and implement dental patient care systems, protocols, and office policies to ensure high-quality service
- Assist the dentist during various clinical procedures, including fillings, crowns, extractions, and routine exams
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary materials are available
- Manage digital radiographs and electronic health records (EHR), ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and general dental procedures
- Perform infection control procedures and maintain cleanliness in compliance with safety and health regulations
- Monitor and manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring timely restocking and proper organization
Required education:
High school or equivalent
Required licenses or certifications:
Oregon Radiological Health Certificate
Oregon EFDA Certificate preferred
Required experience:
Dental Clinical Chair-side Assisting: 3 year preferred
