Dental Assistant

We are seeking an individual with at least one year of experience as an Expanded Function Chairside Dental Assistant within private dental group practices. New graduates also welcome to apply!

ComfortCare Dental has served over three generations of families and residents in Clackamas and Multnomah Counties. We provide traditional dental services in a group setting. Our offices use the latest technologies, and focuses on prevention and stable long-term outcomes for our patients. We have adopted lasers, digital radiographs (including CBCT), and an electronic dental record to ensure our ability to provide optimal quality of care.

Your duties will include:

• Maintain and implement dental patient care systems, protocols, and office policies to ensure high-quality service
• Assist the dentist during various clinical procedures, including fillings, crowns, extractions, and routine exams
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary materials are available
• Manage digital radiographs and electronic health records (EHR), ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and general dental procedures
• Perform infection control procedures and maintain cleanliness in compliance with safety and health regulations
• Monitor and manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring timely restocking and proper organization

Required education:

High school or equivalent

Required licenses or certifications:

Oregon Radiological Health Certificate

Oregon EFDA Certificate preferred

Required experience:

Dental Clinical Chair-side Assisting: 1 year preferred
